It’s been 1 week since I finished Onyx Storm, the third instalment of Rebecca Yarros’ Empyrean series. I’ve not stopped thinking about it once.

It’s said that a habit can take between 18 to 254 days to form, the average being 66. So that’s why, when the clock strikes 00:00 on January 1st, you do not become a new person. The one minute that deciphers one year from another does not transform you. We aren’t in Cinderella.

For the launch, the popular cosmetics brand has partnered with Obsess to create an online shopping experience in which they hope to resonate with a younger, digitally invested, market.

Why is social media so obsessed with feeding us trends that are not one size fits all?
We should be taking one day at a time, being organised isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
What does non-negotiable mean to you? Does it make you think of a turkey on Christmas day? A holiday abroad during summer? A cup of coffee before speaking to anyone in the morning?
To me, the term ‘non- negotiables’ means yet another trend that’s trying to frame our lives, helping us be more organised and aesthetic.
